About Us Current Showing Upcoming News Resources Local Film Maker's Second Animation Film Kate Brown is known in our area as a potter, but the rest of the world is getting to know her as a film maker. She recently completed her second animation movie. This one is a music video for a song called "Human Thing" by the Canadian Band The Be Good Tanyas. Band member Frazey Ford, who wrote the song Human Thing for the CD Hello Love, worked closely with animator Kate Brown on the movie. The frames are back-lit digital photographs of drawings and background paintings. Kate's first movie, Ursa Dream, has traveled the world in film festivals and special showings.
